Ripon is surrounded by some beautiful countryside and our aim is get out and see more of it. We welcome members old and new to join our walks, which are within a 15 mile radius of Ripon. Walks are generally 4 - 6 miles long, with occasional longer or shorter ones.
Our regular walking day is the first Monday of the month with walks on other dates on a flexible basis.
We’re a friendly group, why not come and meet us!
Details of all of our walks are in the monthly U3A newsletter. Members of the group receive a monthly email listing the walks, meeting place, whether a packed lunch is needed and leader’s contact details. New walk leaders are always appreciated.
If you would like to join a walk, please contact the leader to let them know. We meet at the start of the walk, using the bus or driving there (lifts available for non drivers), and it’s useful for the leader to know who to expect.
