Our friendly and informal writing group, ‘Scribblers’ would welcome new members.
We meet at 10.30 am in the upstairs room at Wakemans on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month.
We do not pay a room fee, we do buy tea or coffee.

This is not about getting your first novel published but it is definitely about writing creatively for fun, for your own pleasure and improvement ,and for having a relaxing time in a supportive environment. Whether you enjoy writing your memoir, short stories, poetry or simply “snippets of life”, come and have a go in our friendly, accepting and stimulating group.
