Would you like to take part in an informal group aimed at practising German conversation?

We meet usually monthly on the second Monday of the month, 4pm at the One-Eyed Rat in Ripon (51 Allhallowgate, Ripon HG4 1LQ).

However if you are a new member, please contact me to check the date of the meeting as we sometimes change it to suit participants.

Our next meeting is on Monday 12th January, 4pm at the One-Eyed Rat.

We have a range of knowledge in German from beginners to more experienced German speakers - we do not follow a course as such, but all enjoy speaking German and learning from each other. We usually start the conversation with some of our own news since the previous meetings, and sometimes show photos on a phone or tablet to help things along. We aim to ask each other questions and see where the conversation goes from there.
