Applying Online

New members can apply to join online, paying with their credit or debit card, via the U3A Beacon Membership Application process (the Beacon Process). Here are some Tips re completing the Beacon Process forms

Completing the Beacon Form

Follow these steps:

• Complete all the mandatory fields (in bold) on the form
• If you are eligible for Gift Aid and would like Ripon u3a to collect Gift Aid on your subscription, tick the Gift Aid box on the form.
• Click on 'Make payment' to proceed to the Make Payment screen

Completing the Make Payment Section (The PayPal Form)

You payment will go through PayPal, but you do not need your own PayPal account. (Although, if you do have your own PayPal account, you can use that.)

To pay using your credit or debit card, follow these steps:

• Select ‘Checkout as a Guest’
• Enter your card details
• untick the box . ‘Save information & create your PayPal account’
• Click on ‘Pay now as guest’
