It’s not a psychology class—just real talk about what makes us tick.
We’re not here to teach or study psychology in a formal way. Instead, we’re all about sharing ideas and exploring our own thoughts, feelings, and behaviours together - nothing too heavy, just honest conversations that help us understand ourselves a little better.
We aim to cover a broad range of topics shaped around the interests of group members. Each month we look at a different topic and share opinions, ideas and experiences relevant to our chosen theme.
We plan to make use of TED talks, books or outside speakers – appropriate for the topic in question - as well as drawing on our own experiences as we explore the fascinating world of human behaviour and the implications of psychology for everyday life.
Previous knowledge of psychology is not a requirement.
Our Programme (2025-2026)
Proposed topics for our upcoming meetings (which will be member-led discussions) are:
- December: Self esteem
- January: Coping with Change
- February: Music for the Brain
- March: The effects of parenting on boundaries, respect, self-esteem . . . .
Please note that the 2026 April and May meetings will be on the 1st Wednesday of the month, as the Mondays fall on Bank Holidays.
